INFORMATION

Information

Located in the stunning landscape of North Devon and only 10 minutes away from the coast, North Devon Wake Park boasts the best of both worlds. Offering you a lovely lake with all the trimmings.

We have several great activities to choose from:

- The Aquapark is the only one of its kind in Devon and is great fun for all the family consisting of trampolines, slides, logs, running mats, climbing frames, balance or rock, as an individual or as a team!

- Wakeboarding is an amazing sport, and unlike surfing, you can come down no matter the weather and always have perfect conditions to learn on. Cable wakeboarding is similar to skateboarding and snowboarding but on the water, where an overhead cable pulls you along.

- Ringo rides can also happen on the cable, where you lie on a large inflatable ring and get pulled along

FAQ
  • What do I need to bring?
    - You need a towel and swimming costumes, we do hire wetsuits (£3pp for a short wetsuit and £4 for a full wetsuit) to those who need, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own - You can also wear wetsuit boots/socks in the aquapark but may not fit into the wakeboard bindings. Shoes are not permitted on the aquapark - Bouyancy aids/impact vests must be worn at all time when in the water and we provide these for everyone - Wakeboards are provided free of charge for non-obstacle users and we do hire out obstacle board of better quality for the jumps at £10. Once again you’re more than welcome to bring your own gear - Helmets are provided for all wakeboarders and ringoers and must be worn
  • What happens when I arrive?
We ask that you arrive at least 45 minutes before you're booked onto the water, this is so that we can sign you in and complete a medical declaration if one has not already been done. Then we will sort you out with a wetsuit if needed and a wakeboard lesson or Aquapark briefing before you go onto the water. Once this is done we'll get you on the water and having fun
  • Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly and on leads and not on heat. There is a public footpath around the lake to walk around
  • What on-site facilities are there to get ready?
Changing rooms and cubicles Toilets Showers (£1 coin needed) Lockers (£1 coin needed)
  • What happens if it’s raining?
We still run all of our activities when it rains (as you get wet in the lake anyway!). The only time we will ever cancel is due to extreme winds, fog or lightening, for all of these we will phone/email and give as much notice as possible. If this happens we will refund or reschedule bookings
  • Is there parking?
We have a free of charge carpark right next to the lake and clubhouse, you just have to drive down through the sheep field and we’re on the other side of the fence. There is disabled parking next to the clubhouse.
  • Is there a spectator’s area?
We have an undercover decking area with good vision for all the activities, and for those sunny days we have benches around the lake to view from
  • What is the refund policy?
We do offer refunds or rebooking if you cannot make a booking, and let us know more than 72 hours before your session. However, there is a £5 cancellation fee.
  • Do I have to pay for spectators?
Everybody is welcome to the site to come and watch their friends and families and there is no fee to spectate.
